Yogesh Rawal’s art is created with a force of conviction, which is translated in distinctive style that revels the power of abstraction at its stimulating best. His works are simple and complex simultaneously. Interplay of layers and colours in his work create a sense of mystery.
Yogesh Rawal was born in 1954 in Wankaner in Gujarat, and graduated from Sir J.J. School of Art, in Mumbai, in 1978. Under a French Government Scholarship, in 1979, he studied, Lithography at L’Ecole Nationale Superieure de Beaux-arts, Paris and in 1980, Etching at Atelier 17, Paris. Between 1973 and 1990, he has received 12 awards from various organisations & institutions. In addition to showcasing his works at leading art galleries in India, his works have been showcased in Sikkim, Bangladesh, Burma, Singapore, London, Paris and New York. He lives and works from Mumbai.
This portfolio is a collection of 10 prints, made with the supervision and participation of the artist and printed on 310 gsm German, 100% cotton, acid free, archival paper in size 24" x 24" and printed with archival inks. This would give a guaranteed minimum life of 99 years. They are being released in a limited edition of only 10, numbered and hand-signed by the artist and accompanied by a "Certificate of Authenticity". Pricing Policy :
